Structure of Shree Yantra:

Starts form the central point known as ‘Kendra’ or ‘Bindu’ it has nine interlocking triangles. These Triangles surrounds Kendra. This structure is representing to cosmos and human body connection with each other.

Because of nine triangles Shree Yantra is also known as Navayoni Chakra.

The 2 dimensional Shree Yantra is look like a Meru (Mount) thus this form of Shree Yantra is well known as Meru Sri Yantra, Meru Yantra or Mahameru or Mount Meru.

9 triangles of Shree Yantra vary in shape and size and the intersect each other. This makes structure more complicated and total number of triangles become 43. There triangles are obviously smaller in size.

More deep study of this structure shows two more concentric circles composed of 8 and 16 petals and this representing the lotus like structure.  Lotus according to hindu mythology shows reproductive vital force.
